JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing Department Reporting to: Head of Sales & Business Development
Location: Head Office in Peterborough.
Salary Range: TBC Position Type: Permanent, Full time.
Purpose of Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our Sales and Marketing team of experienced professionals.
You will be working alongside the Marketing Specialist and Head of Sales & Business development with a variety of responsibilities including Data Analysis, reporting.
You will also oversee the updating and creation of sales material liaising between the Sales, Marketing and Engineering Departments.
Create, plan, and manage marketing campaigns on social media and other digital marketing platforms.
Monitor market trends, planning campaigns and using web analytic tools to analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and improve performance, working with the Marketing Specialist to ensure they are in line with the business’ strategy
Responsible for:
• Business and Market trend analysis and reporting
• Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing content, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) • Marketing and communication skills including Digital editing (creating digital content for social and print media)
• Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rates
• Coordinating with the sales & marketing to identify innovative growth strategy ideas
• Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns • Using advanced analytics software to identify customer touchpoints and assess end-to-end customer experience across diverse digital channels Requirements:
• Advanced user in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Digital content creation skills • Strong communication skills
• High quality data analysis skills with the ability to identify opportunities through data analysis
• Driving work forward to resolution at your own initiative. Skills
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills • Marketing support experience
• Work to deadlines
• Team player The analytical elements of the role are the priority, however, a good understanding of Marketing, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and how it is used within a business would also be a distinct advantage.
This post holder may be asked to carry out other duties as a result of discussions with their line manager. The post holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability.
